Broward starts three days before neighbouring Miami-Dade and finishes almost a week earlier, on May 28 rather than June 3 — a reminder that even adjacent South Florida counties do not share a calendar. Like Miami-Dade, it takes spring break the week of March 22, a week later than the statewide Florida window.
